Principal is a 140+ year old, Fortune 250 financial firm. With over 14,000 employees, I work with a wide range of people, skill sets, and backgrounds. I’ve had a bit of a “liberal arts” education in business & design at Principal. I’ve worked on projects for individual consumers, advisors, and small/medium businesses. And, with experiences for investment, insurance, and retirement products.
Projects have ranged from broad, human centered design asks, to granular UI features and component creation, to advertising campaign strategy and reporting – and a bunch of topics in between. A few projects of note include:

Visual Logic is a boutique UX and Human Centered Design agency. While interning there, I helped with client work, learned the fundamentals of good experience design and research practices, and completed a project to produce research and strategies for a local dental chain to improve their customer experience.
Spending a summer helping underserved communities and groups save money in environmentally friendly ways. Some of the most eye opening experiences I've had.
